Linepack has developed a technology whereby Delta robots are employed to handle products stored in bulk. The handling is controlled by an intelligent vision sensor and the product is moved onto a conveyor belt or released inside a box as required.
In order to offer a complete solution, the Delta line has been combined with the matching tray packer featuring a pick & place module, in order to ease the positioning of the product onto cardboard or polystyrene trays.
Linepack can manufacture case packers for a variety of products: a case erector sets up the case blank and a pick-and-place system fills the case with the product. A variety of filling options are available as required: single layer, side loading and stacking.
Further customization may be possible by inserting a pre-glued cover by means of a dedicated system.
Linepack designs and manufactures tailor-made wraparound machines which can handle a range of formats. Input modules are rigorously customized.
Our ABB robot represents a simple and versatile solution and can be easily fitted within a palletising island. It may have a single or double gripping system, depending on the desired pallet configuration.
This type of robot is ideal when working in reduced spaces. It features an “easy shuttle”, which has been designed to move the pallet to the wrapping machine for ground wrapping.
Linepack machines are characterized by sturdiness, flexibility and reliability and they are designed to handle a wide range of formats, thus enabling the end customer to easily adapt to the changes in the market by adding new formats and pursuing excellent performance and innovative solutions. Our strong points:
4. Easy format changeover with limited downtime. The format changeover is carefully designed so that the operator can follow straightforward procedures to contain downtime and restart the machine as soon as the changeover has been completed.
